FOUNDER

RODRIGO GUTIERREZ

Corialent

12 years ago, Rodrigo decided that the Coca Colas of the world shouldn’t be the only ones who get to have all the fun in the advertising industry. He was sick of all the dull, corporate, navy blue and white B2B work out there. Business people are people too. Corialent specializes in B2B marketing that doesn’t suck. And they want to get the rest of the industry drinking that delicious KoolAid.

Conflict Resolution Training

Conflict Resolution Training (CRT) is an international leader in dispute resolution, mediation training. Its graduates assist businesses, governments and other organizations to resolve workplace and interpersonal conflict. They help people express their concerns and get resolutions for their problems. These conflict resolution specialists use tools such as negotiation strategies and alternative approaches, in addition to traditional forms of dispute resolution.

A business often finds itself caught in an IED affair. The manager or supervisor discovers that there are employees who are willing to carry out terrorist activities against the business. This discovery often results in an immediate crisis with high stakes. A conflict management expert may be the best solution to this situation. As well, there are many conflict resolution training programs on the market today that can help employees deal effectively with issues of workplace conflict, such as harassment, discrimination, and other types of tensions that arise from professional work. They teach conflict resolution skills and provide resources for developing a stronger sense of teamwork, increasing employee satisfaction and decreasing workplace stress.

Conflict is all about finding solutions, and a conflict management training program teaches employees how to create and maintain solutions. It takes into account such things as communication, empathy, flexibility, fairness, and integrity. All these tools help employees recognize and resolve conflict so that everyone benefits. A good conflict management training program teaches employees how to build a healthy workplace climate where people are fully satisfied with their environment. It also teaches staff how to enhance customer experience and customer appreciation.

Another common outcome of conflict is the creation and maintenance of open communication lines with all parties. When we can clearly communicate our needs to others, we are more able to make wise decisions that will positively affect the company. Properly trained in conflict resolution training, people feel free to express their opinion, offer solutions, and work together to find a solution to the conflict at hand. This results in a high level of satisfaction on all sides of the equation - customers, staff, management, shareholders, etc.

As we work through the course of conflict resolution training, we learn techniques for creating and maintaining productive dialogues. These courses cover areas such as: how to manage time, constructively question others' points of view, listen carefully to each side's arguments, evaluate your own arguments, and develop alternative solutions to the problem at hand. During the training program, you will also learn how to professionally deal with real-life conflicts, such as those that occur between co-workers or between managers at work. The program teaches you how to avoid conflict situations, how to effectively handle complaints, how to resolve conflicts in the workplace, and how to deal effectively with problematic customers. In addition, the curriculum focuses on building effective communication skills, presenting options, and how to creatively solve problem situations.

There is a lot to be said for simply communicating your thoughts and opinions. However, effective communication skills are not enough when it comes to handling conflict situations; particularly if there is another party involved in the dispute. In addition to using your common sense and good communication skills, you must also know how to effectively communicate with others. The Conflict Resolution Training program teaches you how to:

You will need to be able to demonstrate your ability to resolve conflict situations in a mature, ethical manner. The course teaches you how to: analyze the situation, make a plan, develop a compromise plan, put the proposal into action, learn about successful negotiation, gain the support of others in the process, manage power, develop trust, learn about the legal aspects of conflict, and prepare for the inevitable conflict situations that will occur throughout your career. The course also teaches you how to: plan ahead, communicate effectively, follow up, understand the needs of others involved, avoid conflict and hostility, control anger, take control of your emotions, face problems without blame, learn to accept criticism constructively, and learn how to positively influence others. These skills will help you be successful in resolving conflict situations in your work and personal life.

In sum, this type of conflict training gives you the tools, knowledge and strategies you need to be able to deal with the many types of conflicts you will face as an adult. It will equip you with the knowledge of how to approach any type of conflict so that you can make the best possible decisions for yourself and your team or organization. If you have a passion for improving the world and helping people then this might be the career for you. Just remember, if it is your first attempt at taking Conflict Resolution Training then you may want to start off with small units and work your way up to tackling more complex issues. You can choose between short and long courses and even complete an online course.
